COMPANY BACKGROUND

Established in 1961, Staples Research Corporation was formed to meet the growing
demand for contact engineering and machine work services required by industry.
When Stanley Staples founded the corporation, he assembled a group of experienced
and skilled craftsmen focused on solving client requirements for prototype and short-run
and production efforts. Their goal was to provide technical assistance to achieve practical
and economic solutions in the deign and manufacture of precision machined and fabricated components.

This approach of using dedicated teams of skilled craftsman focused on solving client needs set
a pattern of success which has carried out to the present. We consider ourselves to be part of the
client's project team. We use all our resources to provide quality services and products in a timely manner,
to meet our clients design and cost goals. This cooperative attitude throughout the years has led to the development
of a growing number of organizations that rely on us to provide turn-key machine parts, fabricated parts,
subassemblies and engineering services. Our clients include major corporations involved in electronics, communications,
transportation, laboratory and other major manufacturing industries. We have provided over 300 of these types of
industries with more than 2000 products.

Our organization is tailored to the demands of small-scale manufacturing industry. As such, we can provide close and
efficient support to our client's requirements and schedules. Of note, is our Quality Assurance activity which reports
directly to the president. This direct access ensures that our products met our client's requirements with the highest quality
standards. In addition, we have an extensive network of subcontractors which extend our organization's technical abilities
and specializes skills. As a result, we can provide our clients with a broad range of design and manufacturing capabilities.
